About the Production
Not to be a victim of yet another cancelled event due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, nor even the prevalent ZOOM GLOOM, the shift to virtual was less daunting than one might realize. We carefully studied the plethora of live events going virtual and realized our approach would serve best if we tapped into our roots as television producers. Taking in to consideration the awards format must fit as tightly as possible within a 60 minute program, we worked towards keeping all segments tight, sprinkling in surprise celebrity appearances, a virtual choir of inspired voices, engaging the audience in selecting their favorite companies for a live reveal of the audience choice of the top 5 companies, and a host of condensed program elements that stayed true to the awards format as a live event.
Audience share tripled as the live program grew its’ momentum into an on demand resource which broadened the appeal for sponsor participation.
